  • Why would I need or use valet parking?
    Valet parking is a convenient service that removes the hassle of locating a safe parking spot for your vehicle. We keep you dry in the rain, save you time, and create an inviting entrance at any event.


  • How much does valet cost?
    Daily valet parking rates can range from $3-$15 per day. Rates for events rates depend on number of hours, number of attendants, and the location of event. Flat rates may be available for certain events.


  • Who is liable for any damage that may happen to my vehicle?
    Valet companies should have Garage Liability Insurance and Garage Keepers Insurance. These insurance coverages cover any vehicle in our attendants possession and any damage that may have been caused by the company. Each car should be marked for damages prior to car being taken into possession of the valet drivers, the owner should also initial on damages marked.


  • How often do accidents happen and how do claims work?
    Accidents don't happen often but unfortunately it can happen. At Shoreline Valet we train our employees the proper safety techniques to avoid accidents of all kinds. In the event of a claim we make the process as hassle free as possible. All claims are handled with care by our professional management staff and insurance company.


  • Where is my car parked?
    All valet vehicles will be parked in a location away from public parking. The parking lot will also be monitored to ensure no one is parking in the wrong area as well as giving assistance to our attendants as needed.


  • What makes your attendants so trustworthy?
    We stand behind our staff! Each attendant undergoes an extensive background check and hiring process to ensure basic ethical and moral standards. We hold each employee to an above average standard. We have weekly and monthly meetings that are mandatory and paramount to the success of our services.


  • Should we tip the Valet attendants?
    Valet attendants work hard to provide exceptional service and keep your vehicle safe. In many cases they depend your generosity to make their living. The general rule is to tip $5.00 to $10.00 for complimentary valet parking and $2.00 to $5.00 for paid valet parking. Feel free to ask us about our gratuity included pricing options for hosts who would like to remove the burden of tipping from their guests.
